if there is any open recruitment rally in our northeast circle. in the month of july, i firstly joint the recruitment rally at Jorhat i passed in written test but unfortunately i was failed in physical fitness test and i was very disappointed. so, i am eagerly waiting for the next coming open recruitment.

In Indian Air Force(IAF) after your 12th you can go for army officer only in the Flying Branch.

The Flying branch includes Fighter pilots who fly combat or fighter planes carrying ammunition and missiles.

To join you have to go through the following steps :-

1) First you have to short-listed after the initial selection procedure
2) Then you have to go through three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy (NDA)
3) Then there will be a specialised training at the Air Force Academy ( Flying training establishment).
4) Thereafter, you are commissioned as Officers and posted as pilots at any of the Air Force Stations.


Eligibility Criteria to join the NDA :-

1) Age :- 16 ½ to 19 years
2) Nationality :- Indian
3) Gender :- Applicable only to men.
4) Educational Qualifications :-
One should have passed their 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. You can, however send applications during your 10+2, provided you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining the Academy.

sir i have completed my graduation in arts in 2008 and at present my age is 27 years and 4 months. on the beginning of my schools days my only aim is to join indian army. on the earlier stage i have participated so many times in armys open rally but i am unsuccessful just because of my height i.e 159cm and i am a general category.but right now my height is 162cm.sir please tell me what can i do for joining the indian army?
