Is there any reservation of seats for candidates belonging to reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) OR just they have extension in number of attempts?

Yes there is the reservation of seats for reserved category candidates in the government sector jobs and government aided educational institutes.

As per the constitution of India 49.5% seats are reserved for reserved category candidates which are categorized as :-

For OBC category :- 27 % seats are reserved.

For SC category :- 15 % seats are reserved.

For ST category :- 7.5% seats are reserved.

These community are also provided age relaxation, marks relaxation in eligiblity criteria for appearing in jobs or different examination along with extension in number of attempts.

There facilities are provided to them for their upliftment as these are socially and economically poor community.
