CPT stands for the Common Proficiency test. It is an objective exam for the Chartered Accountancy and is considered to be the first hurdle.

There are generally 200 questions from following subjects:

1. Fundamentals of accounting.

2. Economics.

3. Aptitude.

4. Mercantile law.

To pass this test, a candidate must score at least 30% marks in each subjects mentioned above and overall 50% aggregate. If you have any more details, you can visit the official website of ICAI www.icai.org.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
