Are there any sports quota in any of the IITs for admission in Engineering courses?
Sir, I am a Taekwondo player. I have got gold medal at national level two times in championships held by Taekwondo board of India. Can I have any sports quota in IIT colleges for admission in Engineering courses?

No, there is no admission in IIT in B.Tech or B.E course on the basis of sport quota.
To get the admission in IIT, you have to appear and qualify for JEE. JEE is conducted in two stages as Main and Advanced. Candidates after qualifying in both stages will become eligible for admission in the course. For more detail regarding the admission visit at www.jeemain.nic.in. |

No, admission in IIT is not conducted through sports quota.
To get admission in IIT you have to appear and qualify for Joint Entrance Examination it is conducted by CBSE and IIT. For more details about the examination visit at www.jeemain.nic.in. |
