As you have completed your masters degree in nuclear physics and want to join Indian army then you have to appear in CDS(Combined Defence Services) exam. Here below are details for CDS exam:-

>> CDS exam is carried out twice in a year by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) to recruit eligible candidates to defence service.

Eligibility Conditions:-

>> Minimum qualification required to apply for CDS is graduation or equivalent qualification from government recognized institute.

>> Age limit to apply for CDS exam is 19 to 25 years.

>> Applying candidate must be Indian citizen.

>> Both male and female candidates are allowed to apply for CDS exam.

>> To apply for CDS exam candidate must be physically and mentally strong.

Selection Procedure :- There are three steps carried out in selection process and are as follows:-

1). Written Exam.

2). SSB Interview.

3). Medical Exam.

Written Exam Details:- Written exam is based on English, General Knowledge, Mathematics. Written exam carries 300 marks.
