Is there lateral entry available in BCA or B.Sc(IT) distance education for diploma students?
Hello.. My name is Satish, i'm from Hyderabad. I have completed my 3 years diploma in Computer Science. I'm looking forward for future studies in distance regarding Comp.Science. So can you please just let me know whether is there entry lateral entry(2nd year entry) for BCA..! or BSC(IT) distance education. If any one know the info please send an email to the

Yes, lateral entry is available in BCA & B.Sc (IT).
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is a bachelors level degree. The duration of the course is 4 years. The eligibility required to get lateral entry into BCA is a 10+3 or its equivalent education in any recognised board/ university. Since you have completed diploma level education you can study BCA or B.Sc in any university. Based on your qualification you can apply to the university through online or offline. |
