Tips to prepare for Aptitude section in competitive exams? Can you please provide me the details on the same? How to prepare well and get selected in the exam? It will be helpful if you can guide me soon as possible. Awaiting for the response.

In compititive exams you have four sections-
1. Reasoning 2. Quantitative Aptitude 3. English 4. GK/GS If you want to make deep knowledge of quantitative aptitude then you should follow some of the tips. You should join good coaching classes for guidence. You should study more than adviced by teachers. You need to practice more and more from various books. Some of the books are as under:- R.S.Agrawal, BSC, Tricky maths, Shagir Ahmed, etc. |

You have not told here that what type of competitive exam are you preparing for, Either you arae preparing for a SSC or UPSC exams so i am telling you for SSC exam preparation methods-
Preparation for SSC exams- ** First you must know that you must be a graduate candidate to apply for any SSC exam as; - SSC CPO - SSC CGL The pattern of SSC exam is same for both CPO and CGL exam in preliminary exam 4 subjects (Mathematics, English, Reasoning, G.K.) each subject will carry 25 questions and will be of 50 marks total score 200 marks. NOTE- Time for the preliminary exam is 75 minutes and it will be an online exam. After qualifying preliminary you have to qualify the Tier-2 and Tier-3 also, Tier-2 will be of 400 marks in subjects mathematics and English in morning and evening. Tier-3 will be of English language and it will be a subjective type exam of 100 marks. Books referred for the SSC preparation are- Mathematics books- Mathematics by Rakesh Yadav sir Mathematics- R.S. Aggarwal Mathematics- The Platform Reasoning Books- Kiran Practice book for general reasoning R.S. For the competitive exam, you must concentrate in aptitude. It is the most important task. For that, you may watch video tutorials that are available in youtube. Or else you can join in Bank Exam Training Centers in Chennai to get coaching for exams.
