Universities offering Ph.D? What is the eligibility criteria?
Iam a fresher with mca n i want to do Ph.D in computer science please suggest me what are the universities vch offering ph.d?n giv me detail information about eligibility criteria...?is it possible to apply Ph.D vthout Gate?or else i've to apply gate?

For pursuing P.hd in computer science you must hold a Master's degree or an equivalent degree of any relevant branch of (Science, Engineering & technology) with at least 60% marks from a recognized university You have to qualify a written test or Interview or both which are conducted by the universities for admission in P.hd.Some of the universities offering PhD.in computer science are:
Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, University of Delhi, St. Xavier`s College - Mumbai, Maharashtra, Indian Institute of Technology - Mumbai, Maharashtra.
