You didn't tell about your academic qualification, so it is difficult to say about your opportunity in Air force. But i would like to share some post & regarding education qualification for it: 1. After your 10th you can enter in Air force as a non-technical section. 2. After +2 you can apply for the post of Airmen or you can also apply for NDA through which you can enter in Indian Air force. 3. After completion of your graduation degree you can apply for CDS exam, through which you can also recruit for the officer post in Air force. 4. If you are a student of B.E./B.Tech then you can apply for the test EKT(engineering knowledge test), then after selection in EKT you will be called for SSB test which is of the 7 days test, & after selection in SSB you can join Air force also. for more details about Air-force & recruitment in it, you can visit: www.careerairforce.nic.in good luck. |

you have not told your educational qualification, so it is difficult to advice you. Inspite of this , i am suggesting you.There are various level for the applying air force. That are as follows: you can join air force in a two category 1.Air man 2.Flying Leutinent Air man : To join air force as a Air man, you have to appear in the exam of two categories either technical entry scheme or non technical entry scheme. The eligibility for both is +2 with PCM. Flying Leutinent : To become a Flying Leutinent in indian Air force, you have to appear in the exam of NDA,after qualifying this exam, you will be call for AFSB, after clearing this you will become flying leutinent. eligibility is pass in +2 with PCM. Joinining airforce as an engineer There are three ways,through which you can join indian air force . Those ways are as follows : UES(university entry scheme) : through this scheme ,you have to face direct interview and after getting success you will be call for AFSB. you can appear for this in your 3rd year and 4th year. 2.EKT(engineering knowledge test): Through this scheme you have to give a written test,after completing this stage you will be call for AFSB. 3. SSC(short service commission) : In this scheme,also you have to appear for written test.After clearing written test you will be called for AFSB.Actually in this scheme, you will be commissioned for 15 years in the force. NOTE : Friend,for the preparation of written test ,you have to read the mechanics, math,physics of 1st year. Career in Indian airforce is full of adventure and life.There you will get respect in the society as well as money and security of yourself and your belongings. there are four ways of going to IAF according to your age and qualifications. first after your 12th class, second during your graduation, third after your graduation and last after your post-graduation. It is very difficult to suggest anything as you didn't mentioned your qualification. But there are many post which a candidate can apply for with their respective qualification. Flying Branch,Technical Branch,Logistics,Administration etc these are the good post in which a graduation students can apply. For airman or NDA a 12th pass student can apply. |

She has done MBA in IB but could continue her job because of my health. as i am applicable for a job as a widow of my husband. Hence i wanted her to join IAf on behalf of me. Successful candidates would then have to clear a special medical examination at the same venue (approx duration 3-5 days). (d) Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit will be appointed for training in order of all India Merit depending on the number of vacancies. (e) Change of SSB centre for interview is not permissible under any circumstances. (f) Candidates who wish to change their SSB dates, must apply to the President of the SSB. (g) No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained during the selection process. (h) Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for this entry would be eligible free rail sleeper class return fare. Duties: 11. Duties of the Logistics officer and Catering officer are as follows: (a) Logistics Officer: As a Logistics Officer you will be dealing with the Logistics aspects of Men & Material for the Warships. In no other career does an Officer gets exposed to such a wide spectrum of opportunities to keep abreast of modern and latest development in the field of management & finance. (b) Catering Officer: Two vacancies will be reserved for graduates in Hotel/Hospitality Management, who would be employed in the Navy only for jobs directly related to their specialization e.g. select Naval Messes (ashore and onboard ships), training, and other jobs concerning food/ beverages, rations, and housekeeping, as deemed appropriate. |

It depends upon your educational qualification.There are many posts in IAF which are recruited through exams like:-
NDA Exam,CDS Exam,Indian Air Force (IAF) Pilots Examination,IAF Aeronautical Engineering Officers Examination,IAF Commissioned Officers Examination The above examinations are conducted by the UPSC board but the educational qualification,age limit and other such criteria varies from exam to exam.Hence its always better that you go through the official website of the UPSC where the notifications are published http://www.upsc.gov.in There are even exams like SSB,Airmen which are conducted by the IAF Academy.So you can even visit the below link http://www.careerairforce.nic.in |
