I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for LLB course at the age of 30 year. If you want you can do LLB through distance course. TOP COLLEGE OFFER LAW THROUGH DISTANCE EDUCATION:- Mahatma Gandhi University (Kottayam) SNDT Women’s University (Mumbai) GOVERNMENT LAW COLLEGE MUMBAI Indira Gandhi National Open University (Delih) Annamalai University (Tamil Nadu) National Law School of India University (Bangalore) Kakatiya University (Warangal) Kurukshetra University (Haryana) |

Re: What is the age limit for B.A LLB course in government university? I have completed 30 years age
I am afraid that you are not eligible for BA LLB or the LLB course. The age limit is same in government and private colleges. In your case you neither meet the age limit for BA LLB course or the LLB course.
Unless you belong to reserve category, I am afraid but the road is closed for you. There will be no point pursuing it through distance education since Bar Council of India won't recognize such degree. The BA LLB is integrated Law course which includes the course of BA and LLB. This is 5 years long course that can be taken after completing 12th standard. There is no difference between the BA LLB and LLB course on merit. The only difference is that LLB is 3 years long while BA LLB is 5 years. There is no point of pursuing BA LLB anyway since you have already completed graduation. But in any case you are not eligible. BA LLB Eligibility 1. You should have completed 12th standard from a recognized board. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks are required. 3. SC/ST need to have at least 40 percent marks. 4. Your age should not exceed 20 years to apply for BA LLB. 5. SC/ST can apply as long as they are less than 22 years old. This leaves only one option called LLB. For this course you must have graduation degree. That will not be an issue for you. The problem is that you have crossed the age limit for the course. LLB Eligibility 1. You need to complete graduation first to apply for LLB. 2. Graduation should be completed with at least 45 percent marks. 3. SC/ST can take admission with minimum of 40 percent marks. 4. Your age should not exceed 30 years to apply. 5. SC/ST can apply till 35 years. |
