what is the age limit for a general female candidate for upsc exam. Is there any age relaxation for the general candidate female in the upper age limit.kindly answer.

Normally, the upper age limit for male and female candidates in UPSC exams are same. Upper age limit for HSC level jobs is 28 years. You can apply up to 30 years for graduate level jobs. Widows and divorced Women are also offered with age relaxation. Women judicially separated from their husbands can also avail with age relaxation. These three category women can apply for a job up to 35 years.

why do not give age relaxation to general candidate in i.a.s entrance exam, even each state gives age relaxation to gen female candidate, all states gives same category to all woman even they belong to gen or s.c/st category. now-a-days gen females also backward in education. why do not upsc gives more chance and also age relaxation to gen female candidate.

age must complete on 21 years for all candidates.
upper age limits are relaxation for varies category.
General category upper age limits are 30 years.
BC/MBCs candidates upper age limits are 33 years.
SC/STs Upper age limits are 35 years.
40 years age are relaxation on physical ability candidates.
