Eligibility Criteria and Application Details for UPSC Assistant Commandant Exam 2012
Candidates who have completed Graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply for UPSC Assistant Commandant Exam. Those who are between the age group of 20 to 25 years are eligible to apply for this post. Application for the exam can be done online through the official website of UPSC. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/- as application fees.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Assistant Commandant Exam 2012
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates who have completed 20 years of age at the time of application are eligible. Upper age limit for application is 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can seek relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years in terms of upper age limit. Those who belong to other backward classes can avail age relaxation up to 3 years. A maximum of 5 years age relaxation can be claimed for Central Government employees as well as Ex-service men and those who have domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized University is the minimum educational qualification required. Final year candidates who are awaiting results can also apply for this exam. Such candidates can appear for the exam only if they submit proof for passing the qualifying exam.
In addition to this candidates should have possessed all the physical standards as per the notification issued by the commission.
Application Details for UPSC Assistant Commandant Exam 2012
Eligible candidates are required to apply online from the official website of UPSC. They will have to pay Rs. 200/- as application fees. Fee payment can be done by net banking or by cash in any branch of SBI as well as in its associate banks. Female candidates and those who belong to reserved categories are exempted from fee payment. Applicants are advised to follow the instructions given in the official website while filling up the application form.
They will have to provide details about educational qualifications as well as details of fee payment. They are required to upload scanned versions of passport size photograph and signature in online application form. Candidates have the option to select their examination centre while filling the application form. Those who have successfully submitted the application will receive a system generated Registration ID. Incomplete applications will be rejected without intimation. Candidates are advised to keep this Registration ID for future reference. They are not supposed to send any hard copy of application to the Commission.
