How many age for indian airforce...Could u please give me the details for the same

You have not mention your academic qualification, so it is difficult to inform you the specific answer as you have asked regarding age limit for Indian Air Force.

Anyway there are some information regarding IAF. The IAF can be joined generally through NDA and CDS entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

NDA - National Defence Academy - The candidate aspiring for IAF, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years.

CDS - Combined Defence Service - The candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 19 to 23 years.

There are various posts in which you can apply for Indian Air-Force.These are:-

>>Aeronautical Engineers.
>>Flying Branch.
>>Short Service Commission.
>>Ground Duty Officers.

For getting jobs in Airforce you will have to get pass in either NDA Exam/CDSE Exam.

>>NDA Exam is taken based on 10+2 Eligibility.
>>For NDA Exam your minimum age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
>>You can appear in this exam if you have science stream in 10+2.
>>Your subjects in science stream should be Physics and Mathematics.

>>CDSE Exam taken on Graduation Level.
>>In order to appear in this exam you must be passed out in graduation from science stream.
>>Your honors paper in Graduation should be Physics/Mathematics.
>>Your minimum age should be 18 to 24 years.

At present there is a notification from Air-force for Recruitment.
You can select the type of jobs as per your educational qualification and age .

There are two ways to join in Indian Air Force i.e.

Through NDA and Through CDS


NDA stands for National Defence Academy this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice

Age Limit for NDA Examination

The minimum age is 16.5 years

and

The Maximum age is 19 years

Edu Qualification: Candidates must have a 12th standard

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service, This examination also conducted by Union Public Service commission in yearly ones.

Age limit for CDS examination

The minimum age limit is 19 years

and

The maximum age limit is 23 years

Edu Qualification : Candidate must have a bachelor of degree from any recognized university

For Intermediate (10+2)
Young aspirants having +2qualification with Physics and Maths can join as officer .

For Graduate

16-20 years (Below 10+2)
16-22 years (10+2)
16-22 years (diploma holders)
20-25 years (graduate)
20-28 years (post-graduate)

For NDA -

For CDS-

Your age should be between 19 - 22 years.

Both the exams are condcuted by UPSC for entrance in Indian Army , indian navy amd Indian air force.

For NDA -

You should be 12th pass with Physics and maths from a recognized board.

Your age should not be below 16 years and anot above 19 years

You should not be married and should be a male candidate

For CDS -

You should be a graduate

your age should be between 19 - 22 years

So, now, yu know the age criteria for both the exams.

IAF Indian Air Force is one of the wing in National Defence Academy. To join in Indian Air Force first you Crack the NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.

You are not mentioned what is your education qualification for this exam the minimum qualification is 12th standard.NDA exam is conduted by UPSC twice in a year.

For this Indian Air Force the minimum age limit is 161/2 year to 19 years.And Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible.



Eligibility criteria:

So....... You want to join the INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF). Its sounds great... Well!!!!!! If you are in class 12th, then you can apply for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA). examination, ... This NDA examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC). UPSC conducts this examination for twice times in a year. The educational requirements for appear in this examination is a 12th degree from the recognized board.
Through this NDA examination, one can apply for the INDIAN AIR FORCE, INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY (NA) & INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA).
As you are an IAF/NA aspirant , so you must have PHYSICS & MATHEMATICS in 12th, also with at least 60%(aggregate).

The age limit for this examination for this examination is a 16.5-19 years... There is not any kind of age relaxation criteria is applicable for any reserved category.
