--------------NDA EXAM------------------

By giving this exam one can get admission in the three defense forces of India namely

-Indian millitary academy

-Indian naval academy

-Indian airforce academy


age criteria
the age required to appear for this between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

-candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university.

-candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

-candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.

-only unmarried male candidates can apply.....

physical fitness is required....

Eyesight--------

one should have a minimum corrected vision of at least 6 / 12 in each eye. one could also have 6 / 6 in the healthier eye and 6 / 18 in weaker eye with spectacles with power not more than + / -5.50 Dioptres, inclusive of astigmatism in any meridian with full field of vision and Minimum CP-IV unsafe colour vision.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Arts and commerce department are applicable for Indian Army Exam.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

Selection Procedure for NDA Exam are Written Test ,Interview and Physical Test.

Syllabus for NDA Entrance Examination:-

• Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)

Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

• Paper II - General Ability

Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

->girls are not eligible for NDA .

NDA ( National Defense Academy ) is the only ground where you can enter into any of the Indian Defense services namely

1. Indian Military Academy
2. Indian Naval Academy
3. Indian Air Force Academy

Every year UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) conducts the entrance exam for NDA and is based on Written test, Group Discussions, and Personnel Interview. After you are qualified in the respective rounds you can be taken in of your respective ground.

In order to apply for the NDA you must possess some of the standards that is set the UPSC as

Education :

Indian Army : you must have completed 10+2 in any stream
Indian Navy & Air Force : you must have completed your 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as your main subjects.

Dude if you are in the 12th standard and it is going to complete also you can apply for the examination.

Age :

you must have minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years, i.e on Jan 1st and July 1st of the respective year of the NDA examination.

Nationality : you must be an Indian, Nepali, Bhutan or Tibetan refugee.

you can apply for the NDA exam through Online by the following link http://www.upsconline.nic.in/ or

you can apply Offline as you can get the application form for all common UPSC examination in any Head Post office where you can buy the form and go for the test.

NDA exam is conducted twice in every year and you are eligible to write any of the exam and the duration of the course at the NDA after the selection is 4 years comprises of Degree and Training classes.

The criterion is that the candidate has to be born not before 2nd July 1994 and not late as 1st January 1997. But this does not mean that the candidate can apply for this exam without pursuing the higher secondary examination…

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY(NDA), the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for aspiring candidate desiring to serve Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

In order to be eligible for NDA exam, the candidate should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

Apart from this only unmarried Indian male candidate is eligible to apply for NDA having either appear for the 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University with good Physical Fitness.

The process of NDA-I & NDA-II exams have already been completed for 2012, so if you are interested you can apply for the NDA-I 2013 exam which is going to be held in the month of April 2013.
