which age is eligibility to apply for nda entrance exam?

NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

This is the Entrance Exam for the candidates to be placed in various Defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

Here is the required age criteria to appear for NDA Exam.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam.

As per academic qualification, one should have completed 12th class from a recognized board with any of the stream to join Army wing.

But in order to join Navy and Air Force wings, one should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to take up this Exam.

If you meet this eligibility criteria, I recommend you to appear for upcoming NDA Exam which is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012.

Yes , You are eligible for Indian Air Force exam because you are appearing student. But you must have qualify in NDA exam.

Educational Qualification-

You must have complete the 12th with physics, maths from recognized board.
You must have secure 60%marks in 12th.

Age criteria-

The age should be in between 16.5-19years.
There is no age relaxation for SC/ST , OBC criteria.

NOTE:-

Only Unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

You must have citizenship of India.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and is conducted by UPSC ,twice a year with name -NDA-I and NDA-II.The eligibility criteria in details are as follows:

• The nationality should be indian.
• Only Unmarried Male candidates are allowed.
• Age Criteria- 16.5 years to 19 years.
• Educational Qualification -The candidate must have either passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination with science stream (PCM) from a recognized board or university.

There is an examination which is conducted twice every year by the UPSC for the selection of candidates in Indian Defense , is better known as the NDA Examination.

- Aga limit 16.5 - 19 years.

- Citizen in india.

- Physical fit.

- you are in single person.

- The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

- There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. The candidate should not be overweight or obese.

- The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms.
