There are a number of carrer opportunitiesin economics field .They are-
1. In market research,
2. In equity research in the financial services sector,
3. In rural developement,
4. In demographic studies and in the formulation of economic analysis and policies.
5. The financial services sector analyses the trend of economic and corporate activity through its economists are utilised by government organisations as well as the public and private sector organisations.
One can also work as-
1. A Teaching Job.
2. Indian Economic Service (IES)
3. Economist, economic advisor or econometrician
4. Economist, researcher or consultant
5. Executive, analyst or researcher

The Career options in Economics are very vast. A student can work as an Economic Consultant in a research company or help in prepare economic evidence for court cases. Economic graduates can also enter in to law school. Economics graduates will get jobs in different central and state government offices and also in different private companies.
