What are the career opportunities for me in the field of Astrophysics?

Sir, i have opted for science stream in 11. And chosen medical as my career. But i have a great passion for asrtophysics. So i want to know career oppurtunities for me in the field of astrophysics.
I haven't taken mathematics in 11.kindly suggest me.

In order to get a career in astrophysics you have to be a B.Sc. or B.E. in Physics or Engineering subjects. If you wish to get a job after B.E., there are many jobs open for technicians at various places in the country, including ISRO and DRDO. For doing research work, it is mandatory that you get a Ph.D. There are plenty of jobs on offer in teaching, technical and research work in several Indian institution and government organisation like ISRO and DRDO.
