Information Regarding M.Tech Course.

The M.Tech course is duration of two (2) years. so, don't confuse. If you are interested in the M.Tech course then you can do this course after completing the B.Tech course.

For admission in the M.Tech course you can appear in the GATE examination. The GATE examination is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course. Many other private college also take admission in the M.Tech course through the GATE score card.

Dear friend,

M-TECH course are two types .1)Full Time course 2)Part Time Course.

Full Time course duration is 2 years. Those candidate are GATE qualify are applicable for full time course.

Also full time course provide stipend to you.

But part time course are not provide any kind of stipend because its duration is 3 years.

M.Tech stands for Master of Technology.

The duration of course is two years and the course consist of four semesters.

After completing M.Tech course.Appear for the GATE examination.

The GATE examination is conducted by IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course.

To apply for M.Tech course then you need to complete your graduation degree in engineering/technology/architecture from a recognized board or equivalent qualification.(OR)

Master degree's in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics from a recognized board or equivalent qualification.

see,the course duration of M.Tech course is mainly 2 years.

but there have many other integrated courses also there, those are attached with the M.TECH.

some of integrated courses are

>> B.Tech-M.tech integrated course.

>>M.TECH -PH.D Course.

>>MSC-M.TECH course.

etc.

only single M.Tech course are 2 years.

but other courses are are not 2 years course.

don't confuse M.Tech course is duration of two years. If you are interested in the M.Tech course then at first you have to complete b.tech or MCA or m.sc with sience subject

after that you have to qualify GATE examination. GATE score card valid upto two years .

M.tech is a post graduation course in technical field.. The duration of this course is 2 years..

To take admission in M.tech , you have to first complete your B.tech/BE/M.Sc/MCA/MBA course...

After completion of any of these graduation or post graduation course you can go for M.tech course.

COURSE DURATION OF M.TECH

Dear friend, M.tech course is 2 year programme, so if you are b.tech degree holder or final year student and want to do m.tech course so you will.

m.tech is of 2years wheras b'tech is a 3 year course

ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE EXAMINATION

The gate exam is held by the IIT.
The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE 2012:

Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.

Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

After completion of your B.Tech you can go for M.Tech
It's a scope to specialize yourself in any subject from your departmental background.
Generally the course duration is 2 years.
In some cases like-self sponsored or distance mode or in night shifts the duration becomes 3years.
But these are obviously exceptional cases.

After completing your B.Tech you can go for M.Tech. Its indeed a good choice.
For M.Tech you have to pass the GATE exam with good marks as to get a good government college.

The M.Tech course is generally of 2 years.
In first year there are 2 semesters and in second year the other two semesters. In second year you also have to go for your final year project.

Also in some cases like-self sponsored or distance mode or in night shifts the duration can be of 3years.
