What is the criteria/eligibilty for joining cbi/cid/ib?
I have done bba from sikkim manipal university -de ..
Can i eligible for join cbi/cid/ib?

Being a BBA graduate, you can try for officer positions in CBI/CID/IB. Graduates are only eligible to get in to officer posts. Minimum age limit is 21 years. Maximum age limit will be 27 years. SSC is the qualifying examination which you need to appear so as to become an officer in CBI/CID/IB. If you are able to pass this written test by SSC you will have to attend physical test and personal interview as well.

You can join CBI as a sub Inspector through Combined graduate level examination. The combined graduate level examination is conducted every year by the Staff selection commission. This exam is conducted for the various posts in many departments like Income tax department, Intelligence bureau, CBI etc.
The eligibility required for the post of Sub inspector in CBI is given below:


Education Qualification
Candidate applying for the SSC combined graduate level examination should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the combined graduate examination.

Age Limit
For the post of sub inspector in CBI candidate age should be between 20-27 years. Relaxation in age is given to reserved category candidates as per the govt. norms.

As you are interested for CBI/CID/IB officer , for this exam there is a eligibility criteria which are as follows:

*The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs.
There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates.

Physical Requirements:

Height-

For men -165cms.
For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms

Chest-

76cms. with expansion

Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)

Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye


Examination Pattern : -

a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

i. General Test

ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning

iii. General Awareness

iv. Numerical Ability


b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

i. English Language

ii. Language Comprehension

iii. Communication / Writing

iv. Ability Test

What is the criteria for joining the CBI/CID/IB

To join the Investigation Department you need to crack CGPE(Combined Graduation Preliminary Exam).
This exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.



Education Qualification:

To become an Investigation officer, you have to pass Bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognized university.

Age limit:

your age should be in between 20 to 27 years. The relaxation fro sc/st 5 years and OBC is 3 years.

Gender:

Both male and female candidates are eligible to become an CBI Officer but should be a citizen of india.

The candidate should be physically and medically fit for eligible this exam.

Physical standards:

Height-165cms

Chest-unexpanded - 77cms
expanded-82cms

Weight- Preportionate to height and as per medical standard in force.

Selection process:

written test

personal interview

For Applying CID you have Crack the Entrance exam of Civil Service Exam.





Qualification for CID:

* A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities.

* Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. There is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years.
