Are there any health restrictions for joining marine engineering courses?

yes indeed, marine engineers have to be on ships for duration of months, condition inthe sea change suddenly, you have to be healthy and adaptive... people get sea sickness diarrhea etc. apart from that you must have good natural vision...etc.

For pursuing a career in the marine field like Merchant Navy, Indian Navy it is a must to clear a physical fitness test. So if you would like to have a career in any of these areas it would be good if you go in for check up. Otherwise on completion of course if you find out you are not eligible then it will be a difficult situation. However you can go in for field of teaching and research after the completion of the course even if you have some health restrictions.

i am in 3rd year of electronic engi.student.can i try for merchant neavy with qualification B.E.ELECTRONIC?If yes,
what is procedure and syallabus for enterance?what will be the fee strutcure at goverment institute like T S CHANAKYA?

Is it compuslory to have natural vision,or not any problem in hearing or if it is compulsory have any other oppurtunity for them in this field

i have -5.75 used glasses i able to do marine course

wht is ipsr?is it is a institute for study or an training center for a student.

I HAVE PARTIAL COLOR BLINDNESS AND 2.5 GLASSES ARE USING CAN I GO FOR MARINE ENG.

i wear glasses,and i got 71% marks in 12TH can i eligible for marine engineering
