what are the criterias for physical fitness to join indian dental corps?

After BDS, You can join Indian Dental Corps. For that, You can apply online on official website : www.Indian army.gov.in when notification appears.

Eligibility
- You must have passed BDS/MDS (For BDS candidates should have at least 55%) from a institute recognized by Dental Council of India.
- You must have appeared AIPGDEE (All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam).
- You should have completed rotatary internship from recognized by DCI.
- You should possess Permanent Dental Registration Certificate.
- Your age should be less than 45 years.
- You must be physically fit.

Physical Standards
- Height : Minimum 157 cms for Male and 152 cms for Female.
- Weight should be correlated to Height.
- Leg Length : Minimum 99 cms and Maximum 120 cms
- Thigh Length : Maximum 64 cms
- Sitting Height : Minimum 81.5 cms and Maximum 96 cms

Selection
- AIPGDEE Entrance Score
- Interview
- Medical Test

- Candidates will be called for Interview as per Merit List which is prepared on the basis of score obtained in AIPGDEE.
- Candidates who will qualify in the Interview will be subjected to the Medical Test.
- On clearing Medical Test, You will get final selection in Indian Dental Corps.

AIPGDEE Exam Pattern and Syllabus
- Number of Questions : 300
- Total Marks : 1200
- Exam Duration : 3 Hours
- For every correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
