is 157 score for ibps clerk good for general candidate?

and there will be many seats would be .......


All the common Bank Examinations are conducted by an Institution named as IBPS .

IBPS
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection .



The Eligibility for IBPS exam is :

Education qualifications - YOu must pass

/ studying final year degree /

engineering ,

which must be recognized by govt. of India .

Your age must be between 20-30 years

for general candidates , for SC/ST Candidates 5 years relaxation ,

for BC category students relaxation set as 3 years ,


for the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years


And also the student/candidate should me citizen of India.


There is no term called Number of Seats in IBPS but we can guess


Any one who satisfies the above eligibility criteria can attempt the Exam and if they are qualified then they will be placed in any of the following banks .

Listed for Personality Test
Number of Vacancy: 1000+
Gen: 145-150
OBC: 135-145
SC: 125-130
ST: 115-120
But if Number of Vacancy <500
Gen: 170
OBC: 150-160
SC: 135-140
ST: 120

no you can't get interview the cutoff varies between 180-195

IBPS conducted its first ever CWE clerical exam on the month of November and December in 2011.

The result of that exam had been announced on 29th February 2012.

The IBPS official bodies have said that out of 44 lakhs students 30 lakhs students have appeared in the exam.

And out of them 5.31 candidates have been declared "PASS".

Now, out of these 5.31 lakhs candidates, 2.37 lakhs belong to OBC, 1.72 lakhs belong to General and 1.21 lakhs belong to SC/ST category.

IBPS has uploaded a file in the official website from where one can see his/her chances of selection in the banks. The file is attached below.

From that file it can be depicted that the minimum score obtained by a candidate is 105 and the maximum score is 210.

IBPS Stands for ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) and this Clerk Examination is Organized by Common Written Examination .

Main Objective ::

The candidate who aspiring to get Government than the candidate may apply for this IBPS Clerk Examination .

There are 29 Public Sectors Bank Participate in IBPS Clerk Examination . So, After Qualified in IBPS Clerk Examination you may appear in any one of the 20 Public Sectors with the help of IBPS Score .

To appear in IBPS Clerk then you should Complete Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized University .

The Applicant age should be Not less than 20 years and Not more than 30 years and Upper age relaxation will applicable for both the sc/st and obc candidates .
