Re: Approximate cutoff marks for general candidate in IBPS clerk exam?
BPS conducts exam for the recruitment to the different banks in the India.Only SBI and its associates banks do no take part in this examination .The examination is done two times in a year .one time for the PO post and other time for the clerical post .
The notification for the clerical date is out and for the PO date is over .Which means that you can apply for the clerical post only now . Eligibility Criteria for Clerical Post :: The interested candidates should have a completed their class 10th with 60%marks or The interested candidates should have a completed their class 12th with 50%marks or Those students who have got degree in any streams can also apply for the clerical exams. You should be between 18-28 years .There is some relaxation in upper age limit is given to the SC/ST/OBC students . So , as you see you satisfied the Eligibility Criteria for Bank Clerical Exam , you can apply for it . Good Luck!!! |

Re: Approximate cutoff marks for general candidate in IBPS clerk exam?
Hai,
Cut-off marks will be depend upon the below listed 4 points: 1.numbet of students taken the exam 2.number of students qualified 3.number of posts 4.Difficulty of exam paper Depending upon the above mentioned 4 factors, cutoff marks will decide. Ibps cut off marks/score 70%/60%? According to experts, ibps exam very huge competetion exam, across india,so many students taking this exam,so if you get 70% of marks that is 70% of 250 marks=175, you will definetly get job in any of 19 banks notification.7o% of marks guaranteed you job in first notification. All the best. |

Re: Approximate cutoff marks for general candidate in IBPS clerk exam?
Dear candidate,
there is no approximate cut off marks for any category. however some banks demands more often 21 & 24 marks. but this is not confirmed that they select these marks. As per year about 40 lakhs candidates apply for this exam, so cut off marks is selected on the following criterion...... - number of students taken the exam - number of students qualified - number of posts - difficulty of exam papers. The person will be selected if he gets 45% & above in each section as - Reasoning 23 & above - Aptitude 23 & above - General Awareness 22 & above - Computer knowledge 23 & above - English language 20 & above I hope this information is sufficient for you. |

Re: Approximate cutoff marks for general candidate in IBPS clerk exam?
Dear Friend,
In IBPS Clerical exam , 250 questions are asked which carry 1 mark each . Also 1/4 marks are deducted for each of your wrong answers. Its general prediction that if you get 65% marks being a General category candidate then you will be called for the interview , i.e., if you get more than 155 marks out of 250 , then you will be called for the interview. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
