Do not worry, here is the difference between JTO and PSU.

JTO stands for the Junior Telecom Officer. All India entrance test is conducted for selection of candidates for JTO posts.

>>If you have completed your bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized institute in any of the following stream, then you are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

1. Computer Science Engineering.

2. Electrial and Electronics Engineering.

3. Electronics and Communication Engineering.

4. Information Technology.

5. Telecommunication Engineering.

Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam. The minimum age of candidates to apply for the exam is 21 years and upper age limit is 30 years but upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories.

Now, PSU stands for Public Sector Undertakings. Some of the examples of PSUs are BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, IOCL, NTPC, ONGC etc.

Some PSUs shortlist candidates for the group discussion and personal interview on the basis of GATE score card whereas some recruit candidates on the basis performance in the entrance test conducted.

JTO stands for the Junior Telecom Officer. BSNL conducts its own entrance exam for the JTO posts at national level.

Candidates belonging to Electronics and Communication or telecommunication or information technology can apply for the exam.

PSU stands for the Public Sector Undertakings. Recruitment to PSUs like NTPC, BHEL,SAIL, ONGC, ISRO etc is done on basis of :

~~GATE score card

~~ Group Discussion.

~~Personal interview.

PSUs like NPCIL, AAI conducts its own entrance exam every year.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
