Manufacturing means to create something. This simply can be an idea. Now that you have an idea, use the process of gathering the raw materials to make the idea come to life. Manufacturing can be done on one item or the production of many multiple items.

Every type of manufacturing is production but every production is not a manufacturing.
Example- making of auto parts by various processes is manufacturing,
assembling the various parts to make a car is production.
