Hello,
The eligibility criteria for NDA is that the Candidate must have passed Class-XII. You must have studied Physics & Maths in Class-XII,If you wish to apply to the Air Force/Navy wings of NDA.The age limit is starting from 19years. If you are currently studying Class-XII, you can also appear for the NDA Exam provided you must provide the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by UPSC.You also need to have minimum physical standard as required by UPSC. National Defense Academy Examination
Eligibility Criteria: Age: 16½ to 19 years. Marital Status and gender: Unmarried male candidates Educational Qualification: (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. The eligibility criteria for appearing into the NDA exam will be the candidate must passed class 12th under 10+2 scheme. The age limit should be 16-19 years. the candidate must be unmarried and of Indian nationality. Generally the NDA paper consists of 900 marks that is mathematics 300marks and general ability 600 marks. About NDA: National Defence Academy is the premier training academy for the candidates who want to join the defence forces of India.Only able candidates are Handpicked for the service. NDA passouts join as an officer in the permanent commission. Eligibility Details: Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam. NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY This examination is conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION)..This Academy consists of three wings of joint training: army, navy and air force EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS- you must have 12th degree from a recognized board.Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force. Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
