B.sc course having good career option , There are lot of Master degree courses are available after B.sc course . After completing B.sc course you may apply for the course like,

• M.sc ( Computer science )
• MCA ( Master of Computer Science )
• M.sc ( Computer Technology )
• M.tech ( Software Engineering )

M.tech in Software Engineering is an post graduation course . The duration of the course is for two years and the course is divided into four semester . This course having good scope .

The eligibility Criteria for M.tech course is differ from institution to institution .

If your interested to apply for M.tech in Software Engineering , then you should complete ( B.E or B.Tech in Computer science ) from recognized university . You should score more then 80% percentage of marks in bachelor degree . The institution may conduct Entrance examination / Group discussion / Interview . If you want to get admission for M.tech course then you should qualified in all the three levels . You should qualified in Entrance examination like , GATE / TANCET etc.. with good percentage of marks .

MCA :- Master of Computer Application . The duration of the course is for three years and the course is divided into four semester .

Eligibility Criteria :-

You should be qualified in bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university .
You should having Mathematics and Computer science science subject in Bachelor degree or 12th standard .
You should score minimum 60% percentage of marks .
Every Institution and University conduct entrance examination before allot admission for candidate .
The admission for MCA course is based on the performance in Entrance examination .

1. Higher Studies :

After completing your diploma I think it will be better for you to go for higher studies like B.Tech. and then M.Tech. or M.B.A. or M.C.A. etc. As you have an interest in software engineering then I think after diploma you must have to take your B.Tech degree and then master degree and you will shine in your life.
Besides this, you must have to read the following books :

1. Software Engineering by Rajib Mall
2. Software Engineering by Pressman
3. Software Engineering by Pandey and Sharma.

These two books which I have mentioned in the above is very much important for you. If you complete these books then you will get more interest in this field.

2. Finding for Jobs :

I think it will not better option for you because you will get a less salary if you join any company after completing your diploma. Besides this, I have also mentioned some good companies where you will get chance :

1.M.C.A
2.M.Sc. in computuer technology
3.M.Sc in computer science
4. m.tech (software engineering).
So the above courses are available for your B.Sc computer science, there is a lot of future for these post graduate courses.

,MSc.(Computer Science) is good if you want to
make your career in hardware and networking,
information security, VSLI/Embedded Systems,
Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Wireless
Communication etc.
After completion of MSc you
will have to go for additional diploma/certificate course in any of these above mentioned streams
depending upon your interest, preference and
aptitude for that field.

MCA is good if you want to
explore career opions in web development,
software development, database administration,
hardware and networking.
Hence we would recommend to anaylse your interests and
aptitude for various domains and your furture
aspirations and then make a choice between MCA
and MSc.(CS).

As regarding MCA, if you want to do
it through regular mode then you will have to
wait for one year.
Regular mode is advisable as regular mode courses have more value than
distance course.
