i am in class 12 and my stream is maths . i want to join indian army. What ihave to do for it.

There are two options available to join army after 12th. The first is through the NDA and the other is through technical entry scheme. For NDA the 12th qualification is sufficient in terms of the education qualification required. For the technical entry scheme other than maths the candidates should have studied physics and chemistry too. For both these options your age should not be over 19 years and should not be less than 16 ½ years. Also only males should apply.

Your interested to join in indian army academy after 12th . then you can apply for NDA examination conducted by UPSC .

Details for NDA examination :

NDA stands for National defence academy . This nda examination is conducted by UPSC . NDA examination is held twice in a year . NDA {1} and NDA { 2 } . and NDA examination is divided into three levels namely Written examination , Group discussion ,and interview .

Eligibility criteria for NDA examination :

>>> you should be citizen of india

>>> Only unmarried male candidates are only are eligible for NDA examination .

>>> you should be qualified for 12th in any stream with from recognized university.

>>> your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years .

>>> you should be physically fit for the nda training academy .

Note : Percentage of marks are is required for NDA examination also there is relaxation is not given for NDA examination including SC/ST candidates .

you can simplying joining the airman selection examination which is held by the indian air force with respective state after passing 12th examination with minimum 50%.

hai .u hav choosen a good option.its simple.first you have to appear for the written exam conducted by UPSC which contains two papers(1)is of maths and (2)is of general knowledge and english and some questions of physics and chemistry.After selecting in written exam you will be called for SSB.It is a process of 5 days during which your physical, mental states will be tested.
After SSB you will be called for medical check-up.All the best

YES , You can join Indian Army through NDA exam because you are now in 12 th standard.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

After +2 only science stream students are eligible for NDA exam.
There are some criteria are as follows............
*The age limit is 16.5 - 19 yrs.
*The candidates should be a Citizen of India

How To Join Indian Army After 12th

In order to join the Indian Army after 12th..you need to appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam which is conducted twice every year by the UPSC in the months of April and August..

In order to appear for the UPSC NDA Exams..a candidate must fulfill the following minimum conditions :-

1) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

2) You should be a 12th pass out in any stream from a recognized board..

You should also be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

The next NDA exam is going to be conducted on 15th april,2012 for which the forms shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for submitting the forms is 30th January,2012..

the written exam will mainly test you on general knowledge,english and basic maths

after clearing the written exam..you need to clear the interview and then the medical examination..

To join in Indian Army after 12th,then you should appear for NDA exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.This exam is conducted to take qualified students into different defense service like

For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy wings:
You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
For Indian Army:
You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

So if you fulfill with above mentioned criteria,then you can appear for this year NDA exam.

Important Dates:
NDA-I exam:
Issuing of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam:
Issuing of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th August 2012.

If you want to join Indian Army after class 12th. You have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in the year.
It is conducted in month of April and August.

Eligibility Criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit
