Re: what does a BTS Engineer do?
hey hi all,
dis is madhu i am in telecom BTS engineer filed from the past 1 year so i want to share some things the main job of bts engineer is to install the bts equipment's and do the commissioning using laptop (Software installations) the job is good but for the first 2 years we have to go about roaming according to the company requirement as BTS engineer you can draw a salary of 15-20k and the work is good and challenging (for those who dont like software) and the telecom is evergreen field and there cant be any rescission in ur job and i DONT PREFER you people to go to INSTITUTIONS like simtech and IWF because they all are training centers and there is no 100% you will get the job,but at the time of payment they will say its 100% job, please check the reviews before going to any training centers if u have any more doubts or looking for telecom jobs please feel free to mail me on [email protected],i will try to solve ur problem or doubts |

Re: what does a BTS Engineer do?
BTS engineers are involved with the installation, commissioning, integration, operation and maintenance of Base Transceiver Stations but is at times loosely interpreted as someone who is involved with telecoms equipment at cell sites (BTS, Transmission & Rectifiers). Contrary to what people say, there is quite a number of successful female BTS engineers.
