Re: What is the eligibility for IBPS and PO?
My friend you should stop worrying about whether you can appear or not and start preparing for the IBPS entrance exam. The distance education degree is acceptable to appear in any entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Banking Personal Services.
So without any fear please feel free to apply. Your percentage will not be the issue since to apply for IBPS Clerk or the IBPS PO, the candidate should have a graduation degree. Percentage does not matter. In my opinion you should apply for the IBPS Bank PO. However it is your call. To apply for Bank PO you will have to wait for the notification which might be issued in the next month considering that IBPS PO exam is conducted in the month of June. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted in March for which you can not apply. However it is again conducted towards the latter part of the year. Visit the following website to keep the track of upcoming exams by IBPS - www.ibps.in IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. You should have a graduation degree. 2. A diploma or degree in Computers is also required. 3. Alternatively IT/Computers should be subject during high school or college. 4. The age limit is 20 to 28 years. IBPS Bank PO 1. The qualification criteria is bachelor degree. 2. There is no percentage criteria. 3. The age limit is 20 on the lower side and 30 on higher side. Age Relaxation 1. OBC - Three years in upper age limit 2. SC/ST - 5 years in upper age limit. 3. PWD - 10 years in upper age limit. The age relaxation is applicable in both exams. |
