what is eligibility for railway job...could u pelase tell me what is it

Eligibility for railway job may vary with job profile. For the position of Junior Engineers diploma holders in engineering are usually considered. Engineering graduates in mechanical/electrical streams will be considered for Section Engineer positions. Those who have passed 12th can apply for the post of ticket collector, clerk, etc. ITI holders can apply for Loco Pilot position.

For cracking the job in indian railways candidate must appear for railway entrance exam for every individual post.
So,for appearing the entrance exam candidate should have certain eligibility criteria .
>>> ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE RAILWAY JOBS :
1. Candidate should completed the any courses like 10th or 12th or diploma or engineering or any degree or post graduation courses.
2. Secured minimum 55% aggregate in academics.
3. Candidate should belongs to indian citizen only.
4. Reservation is applicable as per the government rules.

1. For GENERAL persons - 18 - 30 years.
2. For OBC persons - 18 - 33 years.

Graduation is the maximum ability for all the railway exam, but if u r applying for Engg. post then it is engg. btech

job opportunities from railway vacancies offered by the Railway Recruitment Board. The Railway Exam Eligibility followed by RRB for Technical and Non Technical examination detailed below:-

Technical Eligibility-

Age Limitation- Aspirants who apply for Non Technical Railway exam should have age between 18-30 years. For SC/ST candidates 5 years relaxation age and for OBC candidates 3 years relaxation age.
