Yes,you are eligible for SI selection in Kerala.

The eligibility to become a SI of Police are as under:-

-The candidate should have a citizenship of India.

-The minimum qualification required to apply for the post is Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

-The selection process consists of written exam and physical test.

-The written exam is for

*General Knowledge

*General Awareness

*Reasoning Ability

*Maths.

-The physical standards requirement to apply for the Sub Inspector of Police are

*Height-

**For male candidate-165 cm.

**For female candidate-150 cm.

There is relaxation in height for hill men and tribals by 5 cm.

*Chest: 76 cm with expansion (There will be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

* Vision: Eye-sight (with or without glasses)

**Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.

**Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

SI stands for Sub Inspector.The Central Goverment Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

Candidates who want to apply must have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.

Main thing was that candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate age should be between 20 years to 25 years.Age Relaxation for OBC is 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.Candidate height should be 170 cm and chest should be between 81cm to 85cm.Candidates eye should be without glasses.

The Candidates are selected on the basis of Written Test,Personal Interview and Physical Test.

Sir, what is the benefit to joining SI in police after doing my B tech cource in kerela

Could you please help me in finding out how to apply for the SI selection ? I am writing this because i have tried a Lott in finding the selection notifications in the Kerala police official web site but unfortunately i couldn't find the notification. So sir please guide me on this.

Its my life goal to work for Kerala Police.
