Re: What is the eligibility to study in government B.Ed colleges?
B.Ed. is Bachelor of Education course for becoming teacher in schools.
To become eligible for B.Ed course you have to complete Graduation from a UGC recognised University with atleast 50% marks . In some Universities 50% is not required but in most of the good Universities ask for 50% criteria. After completing Graduation you can apply for B.Ed entrance examination of various Universities. If you get a good rank then you will get a good college. To get a government college you have to get very good marks in the B.Ed entrance examination. The criteria for admission is same for Private and Government colleges. After doing B.Ed you can apply for teacher job in Private schools. But if you want to get a Government teachers job then you have to qualify TET . TET is Teachers Eligibility Test for those who have completed B.Ed and want to get a government teacher job. |
