Re: What is the eligibility for writing the SET exam 2018?
SET stands for State Eligibility Test and same examination is held by concerned state board of education for recruitment as assistant professor / lecturer in universities funded by concerned state government.
For appearing in SET, you need to have completed your master degree course in concerned subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized open or regular university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for reserved category candidates. So having completed your master degree in distance mode you are eligible for appearing in SET if your university is approved by UGC and you have cleared your master degree course with the minimum required marks. |
