Hi, I am in hurry right now,I really want to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in Civil Services Exam of 2018. I don’t know much more about the eligibility of this particular exam. Kindly tell me the age limit as well.

The eligibility criteria for Civil Services Examination:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university to apply for Civil Services examination. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

2. The age limit is 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Last date to apply for 2018 examination is over now.

Candidates who are interested to apply for Civil services Examination must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> Candidate should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university

> The age of the candidate should be minimum 21 to 32 years. For OBC candidates the age is relaxed by 3 years, for SC/ST it is 5 years and for physically challenged the age is 10 years

> Candidate must be an Indian citizen

> Candidate must be at least 165 cms in height and for women its 150 cms

> Candidate must have a good eyesight

Do not be in a hurry for any recruitment or exam or job because hurry doesn't make things it just spoils and when it is the question of your career then you must think peacefully that which are you are interest in to make your career better and if you are going to make your career in civil services then there is no other option for you to compromise.

If you want to apply for civil service prelims exam 2018 then you should have minimum eligibility which is :

A degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.

Minimum required age is 21 years but maximum age is 32 years for general category candidates, 35 years for OBC category candidates and 37 years for SC/ST category candidates.

PH candidates can appear for this exam till 42 years of age because they get 10 years of upper age relaxation by the board.

First of all you need to clear prelims exam which will be conducted in objective type mode and if you pass preliminary exam then you will be called for mains exam which is of descriptive type and if you clear both of these exams then you will be called for interview which is the most important stage for your life.

If you clear interview then you will become an IAS officer in India so work harder and smarter and study as much as possible to the point of exam.
