To get admission in B.Ed. course either through regular or distance education mode, an applicant needs to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

1. An entrant ought to be a graduate in any of the streams from any of the recognized University/College of India with at least 50% for general candidates and 45% marks for reserving category.

2. The applicant is required to pass the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted at entry level to pursue B.Ed. course by the Universities/Colleges affiliated by Central/State Government or by some of the Government of India recognized Universities/Colleges.

3. There is no age perimeter set to apply for B.Ed. course till yet.

Below is the list of some Universities/Colleges that conducts B.Ed. course:

a. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
b. Jamia Millia Islamia University.
c. Annamalai University
d. Kurukshetra University.
e. Kota Open University.
f. Punjab University.
g. University of Jammu Directorate of Distance Education, Jammu.
h. HNB University. Etc.

B.ed is bachelor in education where one can get the permission or eligible for teaching both in government or private school.
