NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Science student are applicable for NDA all branch but Commerce and arts department are applicable for only Indian Army post.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

NDA I exam date of 2013 is not announced yet so it will be published very son in UPSC website.The tentative dates for NDA Exams is -

Notification Published: 22/12/2012
Last date to apply: 21/01/2013
Examination Date: 07/04/2013.

NDA EXAM DETAILS :

If your age is less than 19 years, then you are eligible for NDA Examination
for next year. You can also apply for NDA Examination this year also, only if
you have completed your 12Th examination from a recognised Board, Final
year appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination.

NDA examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for
this examination, you have to complete your 12Th examination with
Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects. If you have appeared for
11Th examination now then please apply for this examination next year.
If you have completed your 12Th examination, then wait for this year NDA (II) Examination Notification.

Eligible candidates may fill the NDA Application form Online Only.

To appear for NDA, you must be in good physical and mental health andfree
from any disease. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms.
(162.5 cms forAir-Force). Your chest should be well developed, fully
expanded chest should notbe less than 81 cms. The minimum range
of expansion after fullinspiration should be 5 cms You should be able
to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 inbetter eye and 6/9 in worse eye
with or without glasses.

~~ The notification of NDA (II) Examination will be Published on 05/May/2012.
~~ Last date of apply for this examination : 04/June/2012.
~~ Examination date : 19/Aug/2012
NDA Examination is comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test, The written exam consist of two papers :

~~ Mathematics and
~~ General Ability Test.

So, You have to cracked both these examination Only then you will be
shortlisted for Final SSB Interview. So please prepared well and then
appeared for NDA Examination.
