Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 - 26 years.

The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be answered .

The duration of Preliminary paper would be 3 hours.

Only for those candidate qualify in the Preliminary Examination are applicable for final AIPMT Exam .

The finally Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be answered .

The duration of AIPMT Main paper would be 3 hours.

The AIPMT MAIN Paper is objective types.Negative marking is there.

The exam pattern of AIPMT-MAINS is objective.
There will be 200 objective questions, each correct response carries four mark and one mark will be deducted for the negative response.
There will be 50 questions each from physics, chemistry, botany and zoology.
The questions will be purely based on NCERT text book.Prepare well and all the very best for the exam....

Dear Friend

First of all let me tell you in brief about the AIPMT exam.

AIPMT stands for the All India Premedical Test.It is conducted every year by the Central Board of secondary education.

It is one of the best exam for the aspirants of medical stream who want to become doctor in future that is for pursuing M.B.B.S course.

For this examination, you need to have passed your 10+2 with PCB and english from a recognized board.

For general 50 % marks is necessary in 10+2 and for obc and sc/st it is 40%.

Your age should be between 17-26 years.

Now coming to your query about the examination pattern :

The papers are of objective type and there is negative marking also.

Hope the information helps you.

all the best
