SIR,I m studying MSc(agri).that is going to be completed by JULY
I have to sit in ICAR NET exam for the first time.I don't know about pattern of question.whether it is memory based?
or skill based?
and,What about the marking system?

The ICAR NET examination shall of comprise the following 2 subjects:-

1) Paper-I General
2) Paper-II Professional

Marks: The maximum marks for both the subjects is 200.

Time limit: The time duration given for each of the paper is two and half hours. That is you will be given a total time limit of 5 hours.

No candidate will be allowed to take more than one professional subject at a time for the examination.

Marking system:

The Board has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the
examination. If a candidate's handwriting is not easily legible, a deduction will be made on this account from the total marks otherwise accruing to him. Marks will not be allotted for mere superficial knowledge. Credit will be given for orderly, effective and exact expression combined with due economy of words in all subjects of the examination
