What is the eye sight requirement to join Police?
My eye power is -6.75. Am I eligible to join Police force? What is the eye sight requirement for both eyes? Also, let me know if it is less or more than required than can I undertake operation for eyes and join?

Eyesight criteria is one of the important part in joining police forces. A candidate has to meet below-mentioned criteria to qualify the eyesight eligibility:
Distance visual acuity shall be 6/12 and 6/6 Near vision acuity shall 6/9 Monochromats are not eligible for police examinations. If you meet the above standards then you are eligible for police examination otherwise you can go for PRK, LASIK, LASEK, ICRS to correct the eye vision. |
