i am doing b.tech(ece) final year and i want to know jobs in govt sector

hey friend...
there are various exams conducted in govt sectors for electronics/electricals/computer engineers some of them are ISRO,DRDO,HAL,NAL,BARC,IES.

in IES you need not to apply technical approach instead many people needs you guidance the work shift towards management rather technical.although the exams standards are different than other options given above.this exam is like psu exams just the difference at a point it includes technical field too with english,geography and many other subjects

while in barc,isro,drdo they require your technical knowledge and ability to handle problems,personality,communication skills,academic excellence,core knowledge about the field in which you are graduate.
one can impress the interviewer by projects paper research done by the candidate obiviosly after passing the written test.

you can do job in apgenco(kothagudem,andhra pradesh).you can write ies exam for government jobs offered by central government.

There are many jobs available for ECE stream students in both private and Government sector.Many companies do prefer ECE students because the technology has quite changed and the companies need to keep up their mark.Now a days the usage of Electronics have increased in a tremendous manner.For example in earlier days motors and alternators were controlled manually with the help of rheostats but now days power electronics has paved way for a new technology.Having a good idea about the Control Systems and other such Electronic Concepts will definitely allow a ECE graduate to score well in exams like GATE and Government sector(PSU) tests.

Some of the companies which you can try out are:-

BEL, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO, HAL, SAIL, GAIL..etc

The notifications and details regarding the exam will be put up in the company's official website.You can even prefer top newspaper's like 'The Hindu' and the weekly journal Employment News to get details about the core sector jobs.You can even go through the IES exam conducted by the UPSC for getting a job in sectors like Defense and Railways.

There are many jobs available for ECE stream students in private and Government sector.
Some of the companies in which you may apply like:
BEL, BHEL, ISRO, DRDO, HAL, SAIL, GAIL..etc

You can even go to the IES exam conducted by the UPSC ,and for detail please cheeck the UPSC official website :http://www.upsc,gov.in

Otherwise you may try ic another central govt. job like Defense and Railways....

1.you should have an first class graduation with minimum of 65% and relaxation of 10% for sc/st students,students in final year of there graduation can also apply
