TCS entrance exam does not consist of any technical questions. It basically has three sections. The sections are :

1. The verbal section

2. The quantitative aptitude section and

3. The critical reasoning section

Pattern for TCS recruitment:-

The first section in the TCS Online Aptitude Test is Verbal Ability

Duration: 10 minutes

Total Questions: 1

Question Type – Free Text Writing

The second and last section of the TCS Online Aptitude Test is Analytical Ability

Duration: 80 minutes

Total Questions: 30

Question Type: Multiple choice – Mix of Logic & Arithmetic type questions

TCS Exam Pattern:-

There are two broad categories from which questions are going to be asked:-

• Verbal Ability Section
• Analytical Ability Section

In the first category only one question is going to be there. The duration of this section is 10 minutes. Negative marking is not applicable for this section. Basically you have to write an e-mail over here of fifty words. The outline has to be strictly followed and do not commit unnecessary grammatical errors.

The second section will consists of Logic & Arithmetic type questions. These are multiple choice type questions and the duration of this section is 80 minutes. Total thirty questions are going to be asked.

Negative marking is applicable for the second section. So guess work should not be done. It is advisable to skip those questions which you dont know. An online calculator will be provided. You can also carry your own scientific calculator if you want.

2. Practical applicability of basic concepts
3. Projects undertaken
4. Certifications
5. Problem Solving

3.HR Interview

Written exam will consist of following topics -
Numerical Aptitude
Reasoning Ability
