I have completed btech(IT) with 55% and intermediate with 86%. I want to work as a po in bank but some banks require 60% in graduation. I am obc and interested in working as a po. But because of percentage i am thinking of writing clerks exam. So i want to know about the difference between the duties of Clerk and PO?
Please help.

First of all, I clear your confusion that private bank such as HDFC, Axis Bank etc require at least 60% marks in graduation. You can apply for PO or clerk officer in government bank with this percentage.

--IBPS CLERK
--SBI PO
--SBI CLERK
--IBPS RRB
--ICICI PO program

**So in my opinion you have to try for the above recruitment exam inspite of losing hope for getting low percentage in graduation.

Duties of PO
--service customers
--Handle Cash
--Bring New business
--Payment clearances
--Report verification
--official communication

Duties of clerk
--accepting payments, clear cheques, sanctioned withdrawals
--back office work such as balance tally, receipt collection etc

The work of a bank PO also includes managerial tasks, such as supervision of clerical work, taking decisions for the benefit of the bank, managing cash balance etc. PO has to verify all the work done by bank clerk. All the transactions of bank involve the role of makerand checker.
