how much marks gate exam i will pass...please tell me how much is it

GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

This entrance test is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology for selection of candidates who want to pursue master's degree in technology from engineering institutes of India like:

>>Indian Institute of Technology

>>National Institute of Technology.

>>Government Engineering College.

>>Private Engineering institutions.

Second advantages of GATE exam is that nowadays most of the PSUs have started shortlisting candidates on the basis of GATE scorecard for recruitment purposes. So getting good marks and securing good rank in this exam has become necessary for engineering graduates.

This exam is now conducted online and is of three hours duration with 65 questions of 100 marks.

Marks required to pass this exam:

This is not fixed. Every year there is new cut off for every streams for which GATE exam is conducted.

So, try to secure as much as marks as possible rather just passing the exam because there is no benefit of qualify exam with just passing marks.

Based on previous years cut off, marks in the range of 25-30 is the passing marks for general category candidates. For OBC and SC/ST candidates it is around 20-25 marks.
