Re: What is the MAT eligibility criteria? I have done B.Com
If your aim is Master of Business Administration then Management Aptitude Test (MAT) should not be your first priority.
You should first try to appear for the Common Admission Test. The test is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. They are considered as best colleges for MBA course in India. IIMs are not the only universities to accept the entrance exam. There are several other universities both private and government colleges. The list includes Indian Institutes of Technology as well National Institutes of Technology. Besides Common Admission Test has other advantages as well. Having a good CAT score will also improve your chances of getting job. During the interview several companies give weightage to the CAT score of the candidate. Therefore you should definitely first appear for the Common Admission Test. The criteria for this exam is as mentioned below. CAT Eligibility 1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. 45 percent in case of SC/ST. Only if you are not eligible for CAT, consider appearing for the Management Aptitude Test. This test is given preference by the candidates who have completed graduation with low marks. To appear for Management Aptitude Test you need to have a graduation degree. Unlike Common Admission Test, there is no percentage criteria. MAT Exam Pattern Logical and Critical reasoning General Awareness Reading Comprehension Data Interpretation/Data sufficiency Quantitative Aptitude |
