As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below- AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible. for appearing NDA examination ,Candidates should be a following eligibilty criteria : 1.for army wing of national defence acdemy : 12th class pass pf the 10+2 pattern of school education or equinalent examination conducted by state education board or a University 2.For Air force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 course at the naval academy:-12th class pass 10+2 pattern of school education or equilvalent with physics and mathematics conducted by state education board or a University for more details about NDA eligibility . NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
To apply for NDA the candidate should be an unmarried Indian male within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either passed or appearing for 10+2 with Science or without Science subject. The candidate with 10+2 along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for all three wings of NDA but without the above science subject he is only eligible for Indian Army. The candidate must be physically fit and should meet the minimum physical standard set by NDA. NDA - National Defense Academy is an All India Examination which is conducted by the UPSC every year to recruit students for the three wings of Indian defense namely Army, Navy and Air Force. The Basic Educational qualification which is required for any candidate to sit for NDA are :
If you satisfy these, then you are surely eligible to apply for this exam. The 2012 NDA notification has been out on 31st Dec 2011. Please fill in the application if you wish to apply, on or before 30th January 2012. The exam is scheduled on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday. National Defence Academy
NDA exam conducted by UPSC two time in every year for Army Wing,Air Force and Naval Wings. Qualification:- for Army Wing- candidate should be pass 12th class by a state education board. for Air Force and Naval Wings- candidate should be pass 12th class with Physics and Mathematics,by a state education board or university. Eligibility Criteria for NDA is 12th Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Candidate appearing can also apply. Age limit 16.5 to 19 years A candidate has to go through three stages : Written examination conducted by UPSC Interview by SSB to test officer potentialities Medical Test by a Service Medical Board. Scheme of the Examination Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only. Syllabus for Entrance Examination Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300) Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. Paper II - General Ability Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200) Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400) APPLICATION FORM are published by the UPSC at interval of six months, i.e. April / May and October / November in all the local newspapers and Employment News. dates of NDA exams: NDA 1 15 april 2012 NDA 2 19 aug 2012 |
