Re: Can I appear for NDA entrance exam if I have completed diploma course?
No, Diploma holders are not at all Eligible to appear in NDA Entrance Examination. Yes, what have you heard is absolutely right that Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear in NDA (National Defense Academy) Entrance Examination. The basic minimum educational qualification required is "12th Class or Intermediate" only in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university. Since Diploma course is treated as 10+3 pattern which is not all considered as an eligibility criteria. So first I suggest you to concentrate on Diploma and Pursue Graduate course then. As you are interested to join Defense wing you can then apply for Combined Defense Services Examination with Graduation qualification.
Educational Qualification: >> For Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent. >> For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics or its equivalent. >> Diploma holders (Educational qualification in 10+3 pattern) are not eligible. |
