What is the minimum rank required in GATe to get placed in IIT's? I have completed B.Tech in information technology branch

i completed my B.tech in information technology branch i am preparing for GATE-2013 please tell me what is the minimum rank in gate to get placed in iit's my catagory is SC |

i am third year student of b.tech mechanical . i want to preapare for gate 2014 so that i want to do top in gate . |

You need to score a rank below AIR (All India Rank)500
to secure a seat in top IITs . You can also get PSU calls in these ranks. If the rank goes around AIR 1000 , you may get some new IITs or old NITs. So, a rank below 500 can get you a seat in IITs of your choice. But this is not that easy . One should work harder as well as smarter to be in top rankers . But it's possible. All the very best. |
