If you want to prepare for GMAT and CAT examination, then please immediately join the good coching centre near by you. Without coaching you will not get sucess in GMAT and CAT exams, in this exams, you need lots of practice in advance. Time mangament is also
very important in GMAT and CAT exams, if you practice sample paper daily, then you will definaely acheive sucess in this paper.

So, please join a good coaching centre and daily practice the previous year sample paper, then you will get good score in this entrance exams.

You need be a graduate first, so first better you concentrate on exams to get into a graduation course. For example if you are getting to engineering, then you need to pass entrance exams. If you have already got admission to any graduation course, you can start your preparation by joining long terms coaching programs of institutes like IMS, TIME, Brillance and so on.

first of all cat and gmat are different from each other except one basic similarity that both test aptitude of a student on same areas(logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude,verbal)....in cat logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude are on tougher side as compared to gmat whereas in gmat verbal is on tougher side as compared to cat........don't join an coaching center as of now....relax for 1 yr and then start prep fro 2nd yr onwards.....2 yrs part-time prep is sufficient to get into top colleges.....

Dear friend,
GMAT and CAT are both management entrance tests where different types of questions sections are to be answered.
You have to work hard for preparation either by joining reputed coaching institutes or go through various preparation books available in the market.
Here are some sites you can visit to get the papers for preparation:
www.Grockit.com/GMAT, www.crack-gmat.com, www.gmatcat.com/Preparation.html
Best of luck!

dear friend,
There are different sections in CAT exam these are:
Numeric ability, DI, English
out of these numeric & English is the vital/scoring section , so if you want to score jigh in CAT then you have to make a grasp over these section,
its my kind suggestion to you complete follow the book Numerical ability by Arun Sharma & for the English section you can read any news paper & magazines.

You can also take help from various institutes , some reputed institutes are:
TIME
IMS
Erudite
Career Launcher etc.

best of luck for your Endeavour.

To clear these exams you have to take coaching because they tell you techniques to solve the question in less time and these techniques supports you in exams. In these exams questions are in large proportion comparable to time given. So you have to keep an eye on the time also.
Exam Pattern comes in the following way:
Apptitude,Logical Reasoning,Verbal English and Maths.

Hello friend
It is good that you are thinking of CAT/GMAT at this stage only. First you have to be a graduate in any discipline just to be eligible to sit for the exam. For the preparation few points must be remembered.
1) practice and practice and practice ("mantra" to your success)
2) time management
3) Patience
4)making sure that you are well acquainted with the general knowledge (this will help you in GD as well as in PI).
5) resources must be kept handy.
6) good coaching. for this you may join either any coaching institute or consult any private tutor or be in touch with any knowledgeable person
best wishes

hi friend!
to be eligible to write CAT/GMAT you need have Undergraduate degree in any of the subject you would like...so first you can either do BBA if you are from arts or go for Bcom if from commerce or go for BE if engineering....after that once you join the college then i recommend you to prepare your aptitude...you can refer RS Agrawal...
TIME is a good coaching centre for CAT...you can join the course one year before the exam....before that you can prepare yourself...
wish you all the best.......

Hello,
I am a B.E graduate 2011 pass-out and I am working for an Service based company as a Software Engineer where I have signed a Service Agreement for 18 months. My role in this job is of a software developer in JAVA. I thinking of pursuing MBA after 2 yrs of exp. Can some one tell me if I have done proper planning or should I work for some more years and become a Tech lead and then go for CAT? Though I am technically good. I don't want to continue in technical stream in long term. When is the ideal time to start preparing for me?
