What is the qualification and age limit for s d m

Minimum educational qualification needed for the SDM are as below:--->>

A candidate must hold a degree of any of the universities recognised by the government of India or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 or its equivalent qualifications.

Minimum age criteria for the SDM is as below:--->>

A Candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not have attained the age of 30 (thirty) years on the first of January, following the date of publication of the advertisement.

Apart from the two above eligibility criteria the another important criteria needed for this are as below:---->>

1.A candidate must be in a good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect.
2. The candidate shall not be appointed if he will not be able to fulfil any of the above criteria.

I am class 12 student .l have passed class 11with 83% ( mathematics) (CBSE) . i don't know what should I do after 12. I want to become a SDM

SDM stands for Sub Divisional Magistrate.

Candidate who want to apply must have a degree from a recogized university.

Candidate age should be between 21 years to 30 years.

Examination will be held on the 1st week of January and application forms must be submitted on the month of February.

Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Age limit 21.-30 tak an you can crack Pcs exam... For S.d.m.but you can go for ias if you like all civil service.. Their is no subject or stream boundation.... No percentage problem..... All the best

An IAS officer is placed as an SDM and it is the first posting of an IAS officer after the probation period at the Sub-divisional level of a district.

To be eligible to sit for IAS(Indian administrative services) exam conduct by upsc every year one need to be, an Indian national citizen a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and the age limit of 21-30 year

Firstly complete the graduation in any field.Then you have 3 ways to be a SDM.

1. Appear for Civil services exam.complete the IAS training.
2. Appear state PSC exam.scoring merit marks will get u the Post.
3. Promotion from tehsildar , although it takes time

SDM (SUB DIVISIONAL MAGISTRATE) qualification :>>

1.you have to APPEAR IN UPSC EXAM. After GRADUATION OR APPEARING
MODE OF EXAM PT,MAINS,INTERVIEW.

2.future Exam (DIOPT) the TRAINING will be provided in MASOORE

3.Subsequently you will get CADRES'.

4.Then you have to report in that CADRE ALLOTMENT district as a SDM.


Age should be between 21 to 35 years.
